Fellowship is an important part of the church. For many church members, we see each other between one and three hours per week. During that time, we see dozens of other people. Thus, we don't have much time to build relationships and get to know other people. Sign up for Supper for Six, and you will share three meals with other people from our church over the next few months. There is no catch: these meals are simply to help build relationships and camaraderie within our church. And, there is something special about families breaking bread together in the name of Jesus. Each group will have 5-7 adults along with any children or dependents that may be living with them. Ideally, the group would rotate between three homes, but that can be adjusted if you cannot host a group at your home.

Sunday, August 7, 2016 will mark the third year in a row of having church service in the park. Meet at Ella Sharp Park at 11 am for worship. We will be at the pavilion by the golf course and tennis courts. Stay after for a fun lunch together as a church (White's chicken will be provided, please bring a passing dish) as well as any games and activities you may want to bring. Let's enjoy a fun time of food and fellowship along with our service outside. Invite your friends, and let's show Jackson what a worshiping community looks like on that Sunday.
He is RISEN! We celebrate a RISEN Savior on Easter Sunday. In case you missed it, we had a fantastic Maundy Thursday service as we were visited by a disciple of Jesus, Peter (as portrayed by Terry). It was an inspirational tale of Biblical proportions. I hope it challenged everyone for how they view Jesus. Is He simply someone we read of from history like George Washington or Napoleon? Or, is He the living Son of God who is the Lord and Master of our lives? I hope and pray it's the latter. Jesus demands our all.
Easter is a time of celebration. It is the crux of all we believe - Jesus died and rose again. It was not a hoax, nor was it a lie. It really happened. He is RISEN! He is RISEN indeed! Join us Sunday as we worship this King who conquered death!
